This week’s submission is American High, a group out of Sacramento, Ca. Their March 18th, 2017 release “Bones in the Attic, Flowers in the Basement” is a fluid and rhythmic trip. The production quality on this album is top-notch, having been recorded at the infamous Pus Cavern Studios in Sacto, the same studio where the 7 Seconds albums were created. ‘Bones in the Attic’ is a great road trip/ hanging out with your Bae type of album. While flowing through you’ll catch nods to Slightly Stoopid, R.E.M. and Camper Van Beethoven… a pretty cool mix in my opinion.
