I’m interested to hear people’s opinions on the state of slalom in various places currently. Is it growing? Shrinking? Is it steady?
I started running cones about a year ago and I’ve seen some online friends start to either come back or start skating slalom. So, in my view, it is growing. But is it that way across the board or is it just because those closer to me have started that I feel that way.
I’d get into it. It looks fun. I don’t hear much of anything local to Ventura county, CA though.
Yeah, there is nothing happening slalom-wise where I live. I bought some cheer-leading megaphones I found and started giving it a try and fell in love with it. Not something I’m doing daily, but it is a fun to have a weekly or bi-monthly slalom session.
